The creation of the National Platform for Women Entrepreneurship arose from the need for dialogue, structural cooperation and trust in women entrepreneurship with national and local governments, civil society organizations and the business community, with the aim of economically empowering women, including youth and women in rural areas. The focus is on increasing equality and promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
The National Platform for Women Entrepreneurship is initiated and led by the Association of Business Women in cooperation with the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, the National Federation of Farmers and the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research, and co-financed by the EU IPA Civil Society and Media Program.
The platform aims to provide the necessary basis for influencing the overall development of women entrepreneurship in the country, including the EU integration processes through the introduction of effective consultation, advocacy and influence mechanism.
All interested civil society organizations established in accordance with the Law on Associations and Foundations and/or informal groups (associate membership) can actively participate in the activities of the Platform.
The membership in the Platform is done by filling in and submitting a Declaration for improvement and promotion of the position of women entrepreneurship at [email protected].
